Rick Mantei Visits Veteran and WWII-Era Model at Tarabella Assisted Living

On a recent visit to Tarabella Assisted Living in Columbia, SC, Col. Rick Mantei continued his mission of honoring those who served by spending time with two remarkable residents—Ronald Lindrose and Pat Frazier. Rick was joined by his seven-year-old daughter, Scarlett, whose presence brought smiles and warmth to both guests.

Ronald Lindrose is a proud U.S. Army veteran who served three years during the Korean War before dedicating 46 years of his life as a fireman. His lifelong commitment to service and safety was met with deep appreciation by Rick, who shares a passion for honoring American heroes.

Pat Frazier, originally from England, is 94 years old and shared fascinating memories from her youth. During World War II, Pat worked as a model—offering a unique perspective on wartime life and culture from across the Atlantic. Her stories captivated both Rick and Scarlett during their heartfelt conversation.

Rick Mantei, a decorated Air Force veteran and longtime supporter of veterans and seniors, believes strongly in preserving the legacy of those who’ve contributed to our nation’s history. Visits like this are just one way he continues to connect generations, educate his daughter about service, and ensure these powerful stories are never forgotten.
