Honoring WWII Veterans at Woodward Field: A Day to Remember
On June 7th, 2025, Rick Mantei hosted the WWII Veterans Honor Event at Woodward Field in Camden, South Carolina—a powerful tribute to the brave men and women of the Greatest Generation. With over 200 attendees in the crowd, Rick Mantei led the day’s commemorations alongside Congressman Joe Wilson, who delivered a heartfelt speech. A representative from Senator Lindsey Graham’s office also attended in support.
Rick Mantei personally welcomed approximately ten surviving WWII veterans to the event, many of whom took flight in restored WWII-era aircraft. These unforgettable rides served as both a living history lesson and a moment of honor for those who served. Through events like this, Rick Mantei continues his lifelong mission of giving back to veterans and educating the public about their extraordinary sacrifices.
