This holiday season, Rick Mantei joined in the mission of Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child, funding 500 shoeboxes to be filled with gifts for children in need around the world.

Each shoebox is more than just a collection of toys, it’s a tangible expression of God’s love. Packed with items like soccer balls, dolls, and school supplies, these boxes are distributed by local churches in more than 100 countries during joyful outreach events where the Gospel of Jesus Christ is shared in a child-friendly way.

For many of these children, this is their first gift ever – a moment of joy and hope that can change lives. Many also go on to participate in The Greatest Journey, a 12-lesson discipleship program that helps them grow in faith and community.

Rick’s contribution to this global effort reflects his lifelong commitment to giving, service, and faith. By helping to deliver these gifts across the globe, Rick hopes to share the same message that has guided his own journey: that generosity and compassion can lift hearts and build bridges across every border.
