Kathy’s life was marked by tragedy when her mother, husband, and brother passed away in rapid succession a decade ago, halting her work since then. Rick’s thoughtful gesture of a BG Bible, a microwave, cash, a toaster, and a vibrant poinsettia aimed to bring comfort and support to Kathy during this challenging time. Alongside Kathy sat her daughter, Elisha, who is currently on track to get a degree in psychology – a testament to resilience in the face of adversity.
